In this video, I show how to make a simple and minimal box with a lid using upcycled cardboard. On this channel, we’ve built many boxes with lids. One example is the Jewelry Box, which combines several techniques in a single design — including a neck structure, hinge mechanism, stacked-box construction, and an inner tray. However, I realized that one fundamental technique deserves its own explanation. This project focuses on the most minimal structure of a lidded box. By incorporating a neck structure, the lid and the body align seamlessly, creating a clean and refined look while keeping the construction efficient.
