This video was developed by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) South Asia as part of a 'Standard Operating Procedure on the Needle Syringe Exchange Program for Injecting Drug Users' - to support the National Aids Control Programme in India. The video describes the 'Needle Syringe Exchange Program for Injecting Drug Users'. It highlights activities as outlined in the present National HIV program including the roles and responsibilities of staff and the planning and implementation of it. The video can be played at Drop-In Centres to train staff and also to spread awareness among injecting drug users, their family members and the larger society. The video was shot on location in India in the states of Punjab and Mizoram.
