BREAKING NEWS: Personal assistant of Fahim Saleh, Gokada Founder and Tech entrepreneur, 33, has been arrested. His personal assistant - Tyrese Devon Haspil is expected to be charged with second degree murder, sources told the New York Times. Detectives believe Saleh was killed after he found out his assistant had stolen tens of thousands of dollars from him. The slaying occurred even after Saleh set up a payment plan for Haspil to repay the money he allegedly stole instead of reporting him to authorities. Police believe Saleh was killed on Monday, a day before his body was found by his sister. Fahim Saleh was the Founder and CEO of the popular Nigerian motorcycle company, ‘GoKada’ and co-founder of ride-sharing venture ‘Pathao’. Fahim Saleh was found dead in his New York apartment on Houston, Suffolk Street on the Lower Eastside at about 3:30pm on Tuesday on 15th July 2020 Gokada was founded in 2017 by Nigerian entrepreneur Deji Oduntan and Bangladeshi-American entrepreneur Fahim Saleh. The service was launched originally and started operations in Yaba Axis of Lagos state and has extended their operations to Victoria Island – Lekki Axis Lagos, Nigeria.
