First Class Colombo to Kandy Train, Ambuluwawa Tower & Things to do in Kandy | Sri Lanka Travel Vlog 🇱🇰 Join me on an epic Sri Lanka travel vlog as I journey from Colombo to Kandy on a first class train and explore the best of Kandy! 🚆🇱🇰 Experience one of Sri Lanka’s most scenic train rides – the trip from Colombo Fort to Kandy takes about 2.5–3 hours and offers stunning views of lush hill country, tea plantations and villages. I’ll show you how we booked our Colombo to Kandy train tickets (it cost around LKR 2100 per person for first class, approx ₹550) and share tips for a comfortable ride. After the beautiful train journey, we arrive in Kandy and check into a cozy Airbnb in the city. (Kandy has plenty of affordable hotels and Airbnbs for travelers!). We start our adventure with a relaxing stroll around Kandy Lake, the scenic heart of the city. This lakeside walk offers amazing views of the city and the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Along the way, we dive into local street food and visit bustling markets – truly experiencing Kandy’s rich culture and tourist places. In this Kandy travel vlog, we also head out on a thrilling day trip to Ambuluwawa Tower Sri Lanka – a unique spiral tower located about 45 minutes from Kandy.
