There is something magical called a reducer washer. In this video, I will show how to connect a bathroom sink of diameter 1-1/4" (1.25 inches) with downstream sew pipes of 1-1/2" (1.5 inches) via the help of a reducer washer. Update: The company that did the work for me is called Staring Point Construction LLC based in west Des Moines, Iowa. If you are in Iowa or Midwest, avoid them. They asked me for full-project money before finishing. The quality of their work is below average and they have almost no sense of customer service. The bathroom they remodeled for me leaked after one week. The bathroom tiles they put on my shower is crooked, uneven. They promised to fix the issues I raised but they never come back.
