First Buffalo Sighting & More RV Repairs (Is it Fixed or Not?) We waited at Cottonwood Springs Campground for Mobile RV Tech Joel from Great Adventure RV Repair & Inspections, to tackle some long-standing RV electrical issues. Joel tightened a loose buss bar, swapped out my corroded 6V golf cart batteries for a fresh 12V Group 27, and got Barb’s generator back online (it hadn’t been serviced in over 1,000 hours by the previous owner!). At the time, we thought this had solved my electrical problems — but as I’ll share in future videos, we found out a few days later that the issue wasn’t gone after all. From there, we headed into Hot Springs for a late lunch before exploring Wind Cave National Park. The ranger encounter wasn’t the highlight of the day, but my first ever buffalo sighting — followed by a whole herd — more than made up for it. We ended the evening after a long dirt-road search for camping, finally pulling into a highway U-turn area for the night.
