LATTC's Health Foundation Career Program is designed to prepare students for employment in various supportive care roles in the health care industry. Students completing this program of study will be eligible for career opportunities providing patient care in various health care settings, such as ambulatory care clinics, including community health centers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and medical offices. By fulfilling the program requirements, students gain industry-approved knowledge and skills necessary for employment in the evolving health care and social science industry. Additionally, this Health Foundation Career Certificate will serve as an entry-level certificate to prepare students for nursing and allied health programs, as well as our transfer degree program in public health.
