Black Lives Matter - Peaceful Paris Protests (June 6, 2020)

I usually enjoy sharing photos from my travels here. To say the events of the last 10 days have been overwhelming would be a massive understatement. ⠀ On Saturday June 6, 2020, thousands of people came together in Paris, France to express their anger over the unjust and brutal murder of George Floyd. ⠀ What was initially planned as a sit in in front of the US embassy in Paris, turned into a peaceful and civilized protest. Americans, French and many other nationalities came together in fighting the biggest evil there is : racism. France is all too familiar with these devastating events with similar cases like Adama Traoré in 2016. ⠀ So we came together, and took a stand. ⠀ Systemic racism and police brutality against Black Americans in the United States MUST stop. Racism across the world must stop. ⠀ It is incredibly moving to witness the solidarity and powerful reach of the Black Lives Matter movement across the world, undoubtedly the biggest movement of our generation. ⠀ Let’s learn, educate and help eradicate the pandemic of racism together. ⠀  → https://blmsites.carrd.co/ ⠀ Don’t stay silent.
