I had to do this, there’s no way I couldn’t. Michigun’s passing was tragic, and it’s unbelievable that it even occurred. I hope the community will take this as an opportunity to improve and be the best they can be, but I know some people haven’t made the right decisions regarding this situation. Just remember to focus on yourself, and don’t let others stop you from doing your best. Lava Temple: As you may or may not know, I beat this all the way back in 2018. It was my hardest demon at the time, and my second hard demon. Relearning it was very quick, and my worst death was at the very end of the wave. It’s a very fun level, and I recommend newer players to try it if you’re ready for it. Personal Rank: 28th hardest demon Water Temple: This level took longer than it should’ve honestly. It’s got some annoying parts, as well as an annoying bug, but every part is satisfying to pull off. I think it’s a bit harder than it looks. Thankfully, I didn’t die more than once at the mini ship, but I didn’t have a very good time with the UFO. It’s alright, but make sure to get consistent at each part before trying normal mode. Personal Rank: 26th hardest demon Fire Temple: One of the most fun temple levels in my opinion. All of the parts in it are fun, and it’s decently balanced other than the ship at the drop. I managed a fluke from around 58, but it’s not too unexpected since there’s only one more hard part past the UFO which isn’t even that bad. I’d definitely recommend this. Personal Rank: 25th hardest demon Shadow Temple: Oh boy, blind jumps. The jump at 25% made me frustrated, but there’s some fun memory here so it’s not bad. The mini UFO is pretty weird though, since how you do the part depends on where you are when you go through the UFO portal. I had a dumb death at 83%, but I didn’t die at the last cube, which is probably the hardest out of every other temple. This level is alright overall. Personal Rank: 23rd hardest demon Desert Temple: While I had a bad time with this, dying at 89 twice, 96 and 98, it’s a fun level objectively. There’s no annoying parts, all the gameplay is fair and it’s satisfying to pull off. Even though Michigun didn’t make this level, it’s one of the best temple levels in terms of gameplay. I would recommend this. Personal Rank: 20th hardest demon Forest Temple: This is Michigun’s hardest temple level, and I would say his best. The theming and decoration in it is great, and I appreciate how he focused on making cool designs rather than using all the new 2.0 features that had just come out. The gameplay is very fun, even if I got a little bit unlucky with the ball and robot. I would definitely recommend this for a new hardest. Personal Rank: 17th hardest demon
