Speakers: Simon Morlat, Co-founder of Belledonne Communications and Original Author of the Linphone Project. Real-time group communications require the integration of numerous software components to provide features such as calls, chat, and video conferencing. Video conferencing servers are key components that must integrate into large-scale environments, managing functions like participant management and meeting scheduling directly linked to calendars and address books. The Linphone team has developed an open-source video conferencing server that adheres to the RFC6503 standard, allowing for the "creation, manipulation, and deletion of conference objects" without relying on proprietary solutions. This approach simplifies the integration of conference management into larger systems. Our presentation begins with an introduction to existing conference servers such as Jitsi, Zoom, and Teams, as well as their specific control APIs. We then detail an implementation carried out by the Linphone team in the SIP Flexisip conference server, illustrating how it can be controlled from third-party components. **** 👉 Feel free to contact us for your needs: https://linphone.typeform.com/to/RRDf... ✓ You can also visit our website: https://www.linphone.org ✓ Stay informed by following our LinkedIn page: belledonne-communications ✓ Learn more about OW2 Con': https://www.ow2con.org/view/2024 ****
