The Linphone team has developed an open-source video conferencing server that adheres to the RFC6503 standard, allowing for the "creation, manipulation, and deletion of conference objects" without relying on proprietary solutions. This approach simplifies the integration of conference management into larger systems. Our presentation begins with an introduction to existing conference servers such as Jitsi, Zoom, and Teams, as well as their specific control APIs.
