Here is another shot of "The Diamond Jubilee Express" organised by Torbay Express Ltd, on the 6th June 2012 running in to Windsor, ECS passing the rather tranquil station of Sunnymeads (a local resident who was extremely pleasant informed me that to see more than 5 passengers alight off a service train would be a deluge upon the village!!.and living up to it's name as it was sunny) to pick up her passengers to take them home to Poole. Headed by "Duke of Gloucester" 71000 and with locomotive 67005 at the rear in preparation to haul the train out of Windsor as there is no way to turn trains on the branch so a reversal can only be done once the train has rejoined the SW Mainline to Waterloo beyond Staines. The train had to be re routed on this occasion as it was originally planned to have the reversal taking place at Willesden but the line was closed so the train was reversed before and managed to re gain over an hour in lost time, a magnificent acheivement to all involved . The train returned a different route than the outbound by transversing the Chertsey line and joining the main Waterloo - Weymouth route at Byfleet & New Haw near Woking and continuing through to Basingstoke, Southampton and Bournemouth and finally onto Poole.
