Today I’m doing a loose 4-ish hour timelapsed oil still life and talking about how asking questions before starting a painting is a bit like being a detective: gathering info to piece together a story that can help solve some composition mysteries. It’s also my birthday! :) So today’s painting and chat was inspired by those murder mystery parties my friends and I had as kids...
