Then & Now Palmerston North Landscape

On today's vlog, I travel, well not very far. I'm in my town of Palmerston North. I was looking around online for inspiration in the Manawatu region. And I came across an old photo of Palmerston North post dated 1905. It should the old Fitzherbert bridge, as it leads you to Palmerston North. I thought it would be a neat idea if I could find a spot on the hill where I could get a similar view and do a then and now photo. In the video, I say that the bridge you see now could have been the second bridge from 1935. But I was wrong, it was the third one from 1988. But even that could be a bit wrong, as there have been any updates to each bride over the years. It would be really cool to come back and see how this place looks in the next 100 years. I might not be able to but if this photo or video of mine is still around in 2118, then go take a photo for everyone to see the past and the present ;) Full credit for the 1905 image.
