MUSC breaks ground on new state-of-the-art College of Medicine building

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — For the first time in more than a century the Medical University of South Carolina's flagship college will have a dedicated building. The new building for MUSC's College of Medicine aims to combat a dwindling number of healthcare professionals in the state. Data shows that in the next 10 years there will be about 3,000 less physicians than are needed.
