Mix recipe Ingredients(for the jareesh) 3 cups jareesh (crushed wheat) 5 cups water 1 cup chopped onions 3 tablespoons oil/optional 1/4 butter 1 teaspoon turmeric 2 stick cinnamon medium 1 tablespoon mix spice 2 pcs black lemon whole 1 1/4 cup blended tomatoes 1 pack tomato paste 1/2 kl. chicken breast Ingredients for toppings(hashu) 2 large onion,chopped 1 teaspoon mix spices 1 teaspoon black lemon powder pinch black pepper pinch salt 3 tablespoon water 3 tablespoons oil(optional) Preparation .Clean the JAREESH well then rinse several times then soak in water for 24 hours. .Clean the chicken breast well then cut the chicken into cubes. .To prepare the jareesh;heat the oil in a special jareesh cooking pot then roast the unions and stir a little then add the spices and leave to cook for 1 minute. .Add chicken breast to the previous mixtures then leave to cook on medium to low heat for 3 minutes. .Add tomato paste then cook for 3 minutes then add blended tomatoes to mixture and stir until homogeneous. .Add jareesh then mix well then pour 5 cups of warm water then leave to boil for 2 hours to reduce low heat. .Leave the jareesh to cook several hours with placing a metal heat protection disc under the pot until the jareesh gets well done and soft. .Beat the jareesh with a special jareesh heavy wooden spoon until uniform and homogeneous. place the jareesh in a serving dish then garnish with the hashu and serve hot.
