"Ch.Creator" played Double Dash after Super Mario Kart; had quite a gap with the series. Anyway, I've played Double Dash, too, and that Spiny Shell has been my mortal enemy... even though I used to be WAY ahead of the rest of the racers. It's just annoyin' to be gettin' hit by it several times in one race. Anyway, let's fast forward to this game. I had to restart 'cause that stupid shell made me fall back when I was gonna cross the finish line soon. Suffering this online is one thing, but offline makes it so much more annoyin', in my opinion ■■■　Just gonna throw this out there: I've enjoyed Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online the most (yes, "Deluxe". The original MK8 gave me a harder time). Playin' MK World online has been pretty frustrating for a while now. I dunno. In MK8 DX, I would always just try my best to get to first (not hangin' back tryna get certain items... forgot what that's called). I really finished more than 50% of my races in the top 3... but this game... nope ■■■　Woo! DK Pass! Wish I spent more time around the skiing area, though. Favorite climate and my favorite character; what could be better? ■■■　@25:28, GRR!! In Time Trial, I've actually nailed ridin' up that wall and trickin' OVER the grind rail and landin' the snow... but, honestly, it's not effective with heavy characters (I was usin' DK then, too) 🙄. Practiced it for nothin'... it clearly won't help me in VS or online, since I enjoy usin' my top favorite characters, no matter what... well, off camera. 'Course I love ALL my Mario characters, but DK and Chuck are the ones I've been usin' a lot ■■■　@30:44, I KNOW this is my THIRD time talkin' 'bout this, but this is an example where the minimap helped me out. I was able to see that ?-Panel. 'Course the minimap is useless when you're under somethin', 'cause the minimap disappears ■■■　Slow-golem, I am. I suddenly realized they got rid of the gravity-change mechanic that they introduced in Mario Kart 8. Honestly, it didn't do much mechanic-wise, other than affecting the handlin' and gettn' a boost when you bump into other racers. Still, it was visually cool! Seein' that you're drivin' on a wall or upside down... kinda miss it. A lot of the game's music makes me miss it, too.
