Walk With Willow 1984 A Quiet Trail Journey With My Senior Dog, No Talking

Enjoy relaxing nature sounds walking on a forest trail with 13 year old beagle silky terrier mix, Willow. Friday, February 6, 2026. Around the 5-minute mark, you’ll hear a pileated woodpecker. I had just spotted a red-bellied woodpecker and was zooming in on that one when the pileated flew through. I tried to follow him while he was still in view. He always gets riled up when we walk through this section of the woods, but I usually only hear him — today was a real treat to actually see him! You might notice that Willow is a little more subdued today. She had her 3-month vet check earlier, which included X-rays, bloodwork, and a few other things. She did so well through all of it, and I’m incredibly proud of her. The really good news is that her follow-up imaging showed clearer lungs and a noticeably smaller heart!!! I am absolutely over the moon happy. She handled everything like a champ, and we’ll be taking the rest of the day easy — she’s earned it.
