In this lesson, I show you how to find the value of a logarithm and simplify logarithmic expressions without using a calculator. We do this step by step by converting logarithms into their exponential form. A couple of tips when starting out with logs: make sure you’re comfortable with the rules of indices - they make this topic much easier to understand.
