A 51-year-old passenger was randomly stabbed in the arm, hand and face by a stranger on a Sydney bus at Marrickville just before 1am. Police launched an 11-hour manhunt across the area before arresting a 54-year-old man on Illawarra Road, with the suspect expected to face court. The victim was rushed to RPA hospital for surgery in serious condition.
