Take a look at this creepy and weird garden pest, the citrus gall wasp. We will explore how to identify them, what they do to our citrus trees and how to remove and prevent them. The removal is very satisfying as we explore the peel and reveal method. Citrus gall wasps attack citrus plants and typically leave a large bulbous deformed looking branch. Inside this branch is where the gall wasp larvae live. The best way to stop the larvae in their tracks is to use the peel and reveal method. This is using scissors, a knife or potato peeler to pull back one part of the branch to reveal the creepy gall wasp larvae. Once the oxygen hits the larvae they won't continue to develop and you will stop them in their cycle.
