Here’s how the automated process works: 1️⃣ Bottle Feeding & Positioning Empty bottles are aligned via a conveyor belt and enter the capping station. 2️⃣ Inner Cap Placement & Sealing (First Station) A cap feeding system (vibratory bowl or servo-based pick-and-place) positions the inner cap precisely on the bottle mouth. The press head descends, applying controlled pressure (and heat, if needed) to seal the inner cap (e.g., aluminum foil may use a heated plate for thermal sealing). 3️⃣ Transition to Second Station Bottles with sealed inner caps are transferred to the next station. 4️⃣ Outer Cap Placement & Tightening/Pressing (Second Station) A second cap feeding system delivers the outer cap over the bottle. For screw caps: A chuck head rotates the cap to a preset torque.
