My Two Cents - Kahr CW45 Review (.45 ACP)

Review of the Kahr CW45 chambered in .45 ACP. My gripes about it are relatively minor - capacity, muzzle flip, grip texture, and the goofy plastic base plates on Kahr's magazines - but its merits far outshine its flaws. All-around great CCW weapon, modestly priced, and very reliable. Being that .45 ACP out of a 19.7 ounce pistol is bound to produce some stout recoil (although not snappy or uncomfortable), the Kahr CW9 is nearly identical in design to the CW45 and only slightly smaller, but the CW9's recoil isn't quite so heavy ... although it will be a bit more brisk and snappy (more of a "pop" instead of a "push"), since 9x19mm is a higher pressure cartridge than .45 ACP. Essentially the same contrast as between a .357 Magnum revolver and a .45 Long Colt revolver of equal size/weight.
