Caramel Kiss Chocolate Cookies

These Caramel Kiss Cookies are a version of the classic Peanut Butter Blossoms Kiss Cookies. Add them to your Christmas Cookie List! This makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies depending on the size you make them. Bake 350F for 9 or 10 minutes. Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter, room temperature (1 stick or 4 ounces) 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar packed 1 whole egg 1 egg yolk 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3/4 cup cocoa 1 and 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon salt Hershey Caramel Kisses 1/3 cup white sugar to roll the cookies All ingredients need to be room temperature. Combine and cream the butter and sugars. Add in egg and egg yolk and mix. Add in Cocoa and mix Add the rest of ingredients and mix Form into small 1 inch balls and you might get 3 dozen cookies. Bake in your preheated 350F oven for 8 to 10 minutes depending on size of cookies. Best to leave the cookies 2 inches apart on your baking sheet. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, press the chocolate kisses onto the cookies. Rest cookies on baking sheet for 2 minutes.
