Here's how to perform a hard reset (factory reset) on your Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ / S25 Ultra. A hard reset will erase all your data. Don’t forget to back up your files before starting. Next, find a data cable (USB-C to USB-C or USB-A to USB-C) and connect one end to a computer and the other end to the S25. Step 2: Press and holding the side key (power button) and the Volume Down button simultaneously. Keep holding them for about 7-10 seconds, ignoring everything happening on the screen until the S25 powers down. Step 3: After the phone turns off, press the power button and Volume Up button simulataneously. Keep holding them for about 7-10 seconds, until the Samsung logo appears. Step 4: When the Samsung logo appears, release the side key, then keep pressing the Volume Up button. Once you're in the Recovery Mode menu, release the Volume Up button. Step 5: In recovery mode, use the volume up and down buttons to navigate through the options. Highlight the "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option. Once the option is highlighted, use the side button to confirm your selection. Step 6: The device will prompt you to confirm the action. Confirm again to proceed, by selecting "Factory Data Reset".
