My winter hike to the Arosa Weisshorn was 17.4km long and took 4h 45min. The hike starts comfortably on the winter hiking trails of Arosa. These are very beginner-friendly. The ascent to the Weisshorn at the end via the Sattelhütte, on the other hand, is steep and strenuous and not for beginners. Snowshoes or spikes and a good level of fitness are an advantage here. For everyone else, we recommend tackling the descent back to Arosa at Scheidegg instead of the ascent or taking the cable car to the Weisshorn.
