One more example of how far the interchangeability of the AmpleSound Bass series can go. YinYang 0:00 | J Bass 0:53 | P Bass 1:47 | Jaco Fretless 2:40 | Acoustic 3:34 Thanks again to AmpleSound for amazing customer support. Things got a little weird when I plugged in the Jaco Fretless. The Harmonics/Tapping act differently as you can hear. Not a bad thing, just not what I was going for. Also on the held notes at the end. The project was written with the YinYang bass and then I plugged in the others to compare. Overall I really love these basses and they have such unique character between them. A flavor for any Genre! I've literally had these for a week so I'm still figuring out how to get them to react like a real bass (Position, slap or pop, etc.). Hopefully I'll have some time next week to learn a little more about all the features (there are many) and come up with something even a bass player might not suspect is fake :) The bass amp settings are identical so as not to alter the sound between basses. Built in reverb (AmpleSound) was used for bass ambience and same preset was loaded for all 4 basses. (Acoustic is same ambience but no amp) The Soundcloud Link includes the Upright bass as well. MIDI files are again identical. The drums are Superior Drummer 3 with the Progressive Foundry. Project was done in Cubase 10.
