臺北市陪伴者實驗教育機構是由專業心理師與教育工作者團隊創辦，旨在協助青少年在社會中找到自己的位置，陪伴青少年找回在人群中的盼望。 Companion Academy/Taipei Companion Academy, founded by counselling psychologists and educators, is an educational institution dedicated to helping teenagers find their positions in society and restoring their trust and hope in people. 陪伴者除了服務一般生之外，更是協助在發展歷程中遇到困境的孩子，尤其針對特殊氣質(如：ADHD、亞斯伯格)、情緒困擾(如：憂鬱)、挫敗經驗(包含:學習、人際關係...等)。這些孩子在成長的經驗不斷受挫，最終失去學習動機，並與自己、家庭、人際都失去連結，發展成拒(懼)學的狀況。 Companion Academy/Taipei Companion Academy not only helps students without special needs but also those who have experienced difficulties, especially students with special needs such as ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, and emotional disturbance etc. These teenagers have been faced with defeating experiences throughout upbringing, and have lost motives in learning and interpersonal connections, hence school refusal (or school phobia). 我們發現很多拒(懼)學生，學校的輔導體制不足以滿足他們的需要；然而若到醫院，孩子的症狀也不夠嚴重到需要住院。因此孩子就在醫院跟學校之間來來往往的，最無助與辛苦的也莫過於家長。 We have learnt that the guidance system in schools cannot fulfil the needs of students who refuse to go to school. However, their symptoms are not severe enough to qualify them for hospitalisation. Parents are then put in a helpless and difficult position as their children swing between schools and hospitals. 多年諮商經驗的也告訴我們：這些孩子需要不同的土壤。因此陪伴者也特別為了服務這些孩子，定位於醫院跟學校之間的過渡，承接這些孩子的需要。 From our experience in counselling, we have come to realise that each student needs a different soil.
