We climb to the top of Ban Gioc, Vietnam's largest waterfall for a ridiculous drone shot during our Bike Trip around Northern Vietnam continues in Cao Bang. And get trapped in a Flood! As we finish getting the drone shots, the water level starts to rise and we end up in a little bit of trouble... Right on the border of China. It's the last place you want to get stuck. EPISODE THREE Cao Bang & Ban Gioc, Northern Vietnam In this Episode, we head North out of Hanoi towards the border of China, the Cao Bang region of Northern Vietnam is incredible. Our aim is to reach Ban Gioc Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia. But we don't want to do the touristy usual, so we follow a tip...and climb to the top for the most epic view of the falls. With a few mishaps along the way (Possibly involving yet another drone) it's an adventure from start to finish. Join Paul and James as they Drink the most expensive coffee in the world Visit The Ninh Binh province, 2 hours south of Hanoi Buy new suits at one of Hanoi’s famous tailors Enjoy five star fine dining at Hanoi’s renown ‘Diamond Sky Bar’ FULL ROUTE ITINERARY Episode 1 James and Paul start their adventure in Hanoi. Trying the most expensive coffee in the world and visiting The Ninh Binh Province and the stunning area of Trang An, 2 hours South of Hanoi. Trang An is a stunning UNESCO world heritage site famous for it’s beautiful scenery and caves. Episode 2 Following Hanoi the boys head to Halong Bay, staying on Cat Ba island. James plans a boat trip around the archipelago; floating around the thousands of jungle covered islands and passing small fishing villages. Paul has something else in store; searching out some hidden war bunkers on the south of the island. Episode 3 Finally, James and Paul hire some mopeds and head North in search of the mythical Ban Gioc Waterfall, on the northern border of Vietnam and Southern China. But a spout of bad luck involving a drone crash, a dangerous white water river crossing and a lost bike key leaves them ‘without a paddle’. They end up forgoing their plans and ‘winging it’. Episode 4 The final episode of the series involves some good, old fashioned free styling. With no plans and 4 days to kill, James and Paul take their scooters and go wherever the wind takes them. They visit the breathtaking ‘Tiger Cave’ (Nguom Ngao Cave) as well as dozens of local villages throughout the rural area, finally returning to Cao Bang city for the overnight bus back to Hanoi.
