Much like my other edits, I didn’t mean for this to be the same duration as another song, but I just had to include that ambient outro that I put together. The section toward the middle was the first part I mixed and I felt like it had to be included in its entirety, as it builds back up to the chorus wonderfully. I really wanted to title this track “Doomguy & His Dragon”, but it just didn’t fit. Blood Red utilises Bishop Kreed’s theme (heard notably in Invasion and adapted for Wither & Writhe, as well as some cutscenes here and there) and plays in a level where something of religious significance to the Sentinels is corrupted by Hell. This foreshadows Kreed’s embrace of evil later in the game, so it would be unwise to title this track anything other than Blood Red. Like, subscribe, and enjoy!
