Recorded date - 17/4/2022 Preserved Merseyside Transport 1054/FKF933G Leyland Panther/MCW Route 108 Skelmersdale War Memorial - Ormskirk Bus Station (as part of the Merseyside Transport Trusts Easter Running Day) This year for Easter the Merseyside Transport Trust held a small running day in Ormskirk using a few buses from their brilliant collection, titled the Lancashire Lanes Easter Running Day there were services to Maghull, Halsall Church and Skelmersdale War Memorial with a Mystery Tour running as well. Buses used on the services were a Leyland PD2, an AEC Regent, the very rare and unusual Quest B Type and this Leyland Panther/MCW with a Bedford OB being used on the mystery tour. With the day coming to an end I took the opportunity to record the Leyland Panther which is 1054/FKF933G, it's recorded working the last service back from Skelmersdale War Memorial to Ormskirk Bus Station sounding pretty meaty.
