Climbing Over a Ridge to Cropsey Pond Outlet | Birdathon | Pepperbox Wilderness

Crossing the corner of an unnamed pond leads to a pleasant (and exhausting) climb up and over a forested ridge to the Cropsey Pond outlet stream in the southern Pepperbox Wilderness Area of the western Adirondack Park. This bushwhack is the penultimate stretch during the 2021 Birdathon, a contest to find as many bird species as possible in a single 24-hour period in the third week of May.
