In this video, we recreate the forgotten battle of Lanzerath Ridge, the first combat of the German Ardennes Offensive. 18 American soldiers, faced with more than 500 elite German troops, managed to successfully delay the German offensive by a full day, dealing a crippling blow to the delicate German schedule. I just managed to get this footage from a camera that I had briefly lost track of, hence the delay in posting it. Not the greatest, especially with all of the scenes of an empty field I had to edit out, but it gets the point across. Special thanks to the National World War II Museum for their archive, which gave us plenty of pictures, videos, and veteran interviews, allowing us to recreate this battle with as much accuracy as possible.
