He was praised not only as a lutenist but also as a composer of vocal polyphony, his music is characterised by a dense and intricate counterpoint and reflects a Neapolitan taste for dramatic expression and polyphonic complexity. This video is an attempt to interpret this superb piece and to bring Fabrizio a bit closer to the public.
