*DISCLAIMER - This is not my video, I was in no way involved with making this video.* About a year ago, this essay made the rounds prior to the release of Avatar: Way of Water. It gained LocalScriptMan's (formerly Local) channel a lot of traction. However, he has since unlisted both Avatar videos, as well as a few of his earlier stuff. He has since stated that he wants to move his channel in a new direction now that he has an audience and that his statements in these videos don't really fall in line with his current thoughts on storytelling and structure. And I respect his decision to keep them seperate from his new style of content, however these two videos were how I found his channel and they're really well made. For that reason, I think it's important that they remain up but separate from his new content. If he contacts me asking me to take them down then I will, but otherwise, please enjoy possibly one of my favorite video essays on the platform. Definitely check out the @localscriptman channel, he does great work, just don't expect more video essays like what you're seeing here in the future. (P.S. It's also been upscaled to 4k because why the hell not)
