TIME TO HEAL — A Song for Eva, and for Every Child Who Feels Deeply Written and performed by Sarah Griffiths “Time to Heal” was born in one of the hardest seasons of my life—when my daughter Eva fell into severe autistic burnout. Her world became too loud, too bright, too frightening. And as she withdrew into herself, I searched for a way to reach her… to comfort her… to help her feel safe again. This song became that bridge. I wrote it on my ukulele, gently, slowly—word by word—hoping it would soothe her nervous system and wrap her in warmth when everything felt overwhelming. It became a lullaby, a grounding tool, and a reminder that she didn’t need to rush her recovery. She just needed time… patience… softness… and love. Now, this song is part of my children’s book, “Eva’s Voice” (releasing 2026), a story that shares Eva’s autistic journey—what the world feels like through her eyes, how deeply she experiences life, and how brave she is as she learns to understand herself again. 💛 This song is for: – Autistic and neurodivergent children – Children experiencing anxiety or overwhelm – Parents and carers supporting a child through burnout – Anyone who needs permission to slow down, breathe, and simply be 🎧 How to use this song: – Play it as a calming bedtime track – Use it during sensory regulation – Sing along with your child to co-regulate – Pair it with breathing exercises or quiet play – Use it as a grounding tool on difficult days 🎵 Let this song remind you: Healing is not hurried. Progress is not linear. And every child deserves the space and safety to take the time they need to heal. Thank you for listening, for caring, and for walking this journey with us. With love, Sarah & Eva 💛
