Black Uhuru's second appearance on Reggae Strong took place in the spring of 1990, when the line-up featured Don Carlos, Garth Dennis and (of course) Duckie Simpson. The songs included in this program have been remastered and can be found (in full) on this channel. The interview is even more striking now, in retrospect, than when the program aired, 30+. years ago. Duckie, as usual, holds nothing back... Because this is a time capsule view of the reggae scene of the 90s, I have included the vintage ads and News and Reviews section of the time, which features Amy Wachtel, the Night Nurse (whose radio program "Rockers Arena" can still be accessed through Facebook as well as on WUSB, in Bridgeport CT). Songs featured here include Take Heed, Hey Joe, Willow Tree (Peace and Love) and Heathen, which were videotaped at Bay Street, in Sag Harbor, NY. on March 17, 1990. R.I.P and love Garthie.
