It’s been a great learning project to get to grips with real-time rendering and optimizing my 3D workflow. The final renders aren’t real-time due to high model geometry and volumetrics. Still very fast compared to a path tracer though. There's roughly a 50-50 split between hand animation and motion capture from mixamo. This saved so much time and allowed me to focus on animating the facial expressions + dialogue. Character materials are made from scratch in substance painter. The environments are mainly PBR image textures and extruded stills.
