Making Torch Glass Ring holders with Iron Ram Forge | Torch Glass, Glass Blowing, Lamp Glass

In this video we follow Mike as he works some hot glass into a ring holder. We're using our glass torch and borosilicate glass to make these ring holders. While the ring holders aren't very sculptural, they are a nice way to practice using different colored glass and experiment with different striking colors. Iron Ram Forge is a blacksmith shop run by father and son pair Mike and Ethan Yazel. The duo operates out of their dual story workshop they built together on the family farm. In the basement they work in the hotshop with metal and glass, on the second story they work with wood to make carvings and furniture as well as fine hand engraving for jewellery and historic accoutrements.
