Career talk with Anna Woodeson, exploring insights into how to best secure employment after graduating. About the speaker: Anna Woodeson Anna leads projects, providing senior level input from the outset to challenge and interrogate design assumptions, inputs and importantly to advocate retention and retrofit strategies. Anna has been involved in the world of sustainability as a practising architect for almost 30 years and is passionate about championing sustainability in its widest sense. She achieves this through embedding sustainability in her day-to-day work, through influencing the wider sector and through her co-curricular activities. Prior to joining Buro Happold, Anna worked on numerous award winning projects that have pushed sustainability targets and as such have provided exemplars for the industry. Anna is an expert in refurbishing and retrofitting existing buildings, particularly in a heritage setting. Anna has been a consistent contributor to conversations surrounding sustainability within industry. She is a current trustee of UK Architects Declare and the Chair and Director of Power Up North London, a community energy company working to increase the renewable energy pipeline alongside championing fuel poverty and decarbonisation work.
