Japanese electronic musician and film composer has died, aged 71 on March 28th. His birthday was last January. His most recognisable piece (most likely) is the almost hauntingly like music from the film "Mr Christmas, Mr. Lawrence" (1983) which he also starred in with David Bowie. I listen this this music every couple of years, its that good and I have seen the film half a dozen times already over the decades. The music is more famous than the film and there is discussion about him after the obituary report. It's nice to put a name and face to the music and learn more about the man and his pioneering music. He was a good actor as well.
