The move mostly went smoothly. I couldn't get a place in a more decent spot because there were months long waiting lists and I didn't have that much time. However, because of low pay and not being given any opportunity to grow (Walmart is notoriously bad with that), I hardly got to be able to get to do much. By now, I was hoping I'd have gotten an annual pass at the local theme park and water park. That never happened. My main site has been down because of financial issues. I bought a kayak shortly after moving, but I almost wasn't able to pay off all my credit cards at the time (I pay them in full all the time so I don't get charged interest). It was a close call. I didn't like what I was doing for my job as I was being held back and ignored. They were wanting me to improve my speed, but I only slew down more as I got deeper into depression. Then I finally got into OGP and I was so much happier. I was also getting paid more which only further improved things. I was just about to get to be prosperous for my first time ever then covid-19 came along and things got much, much worse. The situation was becoming traumatic, and when masks were being forced upon, I knew it was going to mean the end. Just before that, I was getting 60 hours a week, once even getting a bit over 141 hours in a 2-week pay period and about 280 hours in a one-month period. On May 5, 2020, that was the last time I was able to go to work at all. May 4, 2020 I was having arguments going on, raising my voice often, because I was going into a panic over the masks. I was also getting bullied. Plus, with the past neglect and ignorance, that only added more fuel to the fire. I did everything I could to try to save my job. Nothing worked. I was able to get unemployment because Walmart wasn't allowing me to go to work. I qualified under the "hours reduced" reason, as my hours were effectively reduced to 0. That kept me afloat while I avoided spending as much as possible. I tried to keep my fitness up from going to the beach, but then the government started threatening fines for not having masks. Shortly after, I had a very scary incident. A pedestrian off the side of the road facing toward me had one of those masks and the light ahead changed yellow. I went into a panic and by the time I realized that the light changed, I was closing in fast on the car in front. I had to slam on my brakes, at about 12 mph per second, and I came maybe an inch short of an impact. I was (and still am) afraid to be out in public because of the masks, especially from that incident, so I was shut out of the public as a whole. I waited for the mask stuff to go away. Back in June, things were good and I was able to go to the beach once more after 13 months when the covid-19 new case count was much lower and mask usage was lower. I only went that one last time because it's otherwise too expensive since it's an hour away, only going because I had a job interview at the time. I tried getting a job, but far too much mask usage was going on where about 50% of everyone had a mask. Retail was out and that's the only type of job I have any experience with. Employers have been unwilling to work with this medical condition. From being evicted from Walmart, I no longer have medical insurance. I looked to other types of jobs where I'm generally with much smaller groups, like an office type job or something outdoors. The few things that were looking good where the employer was willing to work with the mask problem, I wasn't the selected one. Then came the Delta variant. With the government not providing any assistance, or extending benefits, my unemployment got cut off, leaving me with effectively no income source beyond the $40 a month from my books. Due to no experience and not having worthwhile phone service and a glitchy old mobile phone, and worries about Google being involved with any remote jobs (I have Google blocked at the OS level where my computer effectively doesn't exist to Google and I'm not going to unblock them because of my very strong dislike toward them for ruining my popularity (11 million video views and 14,000 subscribers, all destroyed)). The only hope I have for a job right now is a computer-based one where I'm doing data entry into something like Excel where I don't have to interact with others.
