On Friday the Adas re-enact the historic events of the Ada people, The "warriors" dress in traditional battle attire and stage a mock battle. It is also a time when the young men are introduced to warfare. Ada Asafotufiami Friday ceremony includes the initiation of young men into the warrior companies and the reenactment of historical battles at the battlefield, the sacred grounds for the Adas at Luhuese. All Asafo companies and their leaders present themselves at the sacred grounds. Other groups like the associations also attend. From Ngano, the sacred grounds everyone goes to pay homage to the paramount chief and the Queenmother who sit in state at lernobinya.
