Prepare to witness the birth of a true hero! After ten long years of waiting, my semi truck Optimus is finally equipped with a flat deck bush trailer that will blow your mind. This trailer is not your ordinary off-road rig, it is in prototype stages and boasts 4 Wheel Steering and is destined to be 4X4 without driveshafts. It's muddy and willing, and ready to take on any challenge that comes its way. Side note: (during editing I observed I need to turn down the trailer first-axle wheel speed controller, to match the truck motor wheel speed. It's slightly too fast) From the inception of this truck - a trailer was never considered, as it would have to be HUGE. But, all of these years later, I have put a lot of thought into what his trailer would have to be - to be functional for me. A Motor On Axle setup with 4WS is completely OPTiMUS "OVERKiLL" - and truly the only setup that makes sense. I am awaiting a gear for my last axle, so I can mount the second motor on the trailer. For an off-road bush trailer, exceptional strength, extreme belly clearance, and the ability to power over obstacles are paramount. This trailer is not just pulled; it's a powerful recovery unit that's always ready for action. I'll be putting it to the test on YouTube, so be sure to tune in for the epic show. My idea for the trailer is somewhat revolutionary. It's similar a rear-engine car on a train, with push, pull, but has complete steer -ability. The Electric Motor mounted to the Axle setup is perfect, requiring no extra driveshafts or bulky transmissions. I have a lot of testing to do, but my confidence is high. From the inception of Optimus, a trailer was never considered. But, all these years later, I've put a lot of thought into what it would have to be - to be functional for me. This Motor On Axle setup with 4WS is completely OPTiMUS "OVERKiLL" - and truly the only setup that makes sense. The trailer is currently 4WS, 2WD locked, but soon it will be 4WS, 4WD locked. Matching tires and wheels are in transit and will complete the overall appearance of the vehicle and perform as intended. Optimus is a one-of-a-kind build. Recently, I installed 4, 2300KV Fusion Pro Brushless Motors, giving it maximum power.    • TURBO FUSiON 6x6x6 OPTiMUS OVERKiLL OFF RO...   But, I couldn't just make this trailer "any old trailer"; it had to be versatile over ALL terrains and waterproof. The trailer acts as a rear power center, all on its own. So BiG Tires and POWER is essential. Prepare for the true brute power of the trailer!
