Coblation assisted adenoids are performed under general anaesthesia the child is first given anaesthesia to set it completely and the child is kept in position there are two ways in which the adenoid can be approached some surgeons prefer to go through the nose and some surgeons prefer to go through the throat if the child is very small the coblative want is placed inside the throat if want facing up towards the adenoid tissue and all points its ensured that the coblative wan tic is visible to the surgeon. Nasal endoscope zero degree or 30 degree is inserted through the nose to visualize the adenoid and the coblative want is used to remove the adenoid layer by layer in sweeping motion at the same time if there is any small microscopic bleeds seen they are coagulated with coagulate mode after all the adenoids tissues removed and premise is visible we ensure that complete haemostasis or all bleeding there is no bleeding at all even as a microscopic level and the surgery is stopped.
