From 2001 to 2010 SIR operated scheduled local stop trains from Tottenville to Ball Park terminal (Richmond County Savings Bank Ball Park). Summer 2001 I joined a handful of transit planners and rail fans going as a group to enjoy the rare ride over the spur track to the new Ball Park station and the baseball game. Fares were collected with two staffed bus fare boxes at Ball Park platform (shown in video).
