The ARKs of Xinmar is a low population PvPvE server geared to messing around and having fun. Join the Discord via the following link!   / discord   This is the second attempt we took on this fight, the first ending in failure for a number of reasons. With a group of 3 people and a horde of Tek Rexes, we jumped back into it with a better strategy! Once again voice wasn't captured which is something I plan to fix at some point. We as players primarily stayed on foot to ensure the easy collection of code keys while the Tek Rex army did most of the grunt work. I seemed to be rather lost in this fight but I kept to the role of dealing with attack drones. Of all the weapons I could've done it with, the simple pistol is pretty effective and cheap for upkeep. The pistol was a crafting skill-boosted craft and was rather potent. The shotgun was also very useful for making quick work of the dinotars. Honestly the tek weapons didn't see much use. I did my best to not use the "disabled" Tek armor abilities in Genesis but there are a few moments where they came out, though their impact wasn't much. The fight is all about crowd clearing and getting code keys to the codebreaker as fast as possible. My tribemates were specced more for this fight than I was so they were the main code key runners while I kept the drones at bay. In the last phase things get a lot more hectic and you're required to use the codebreaker at least 4 times due to hard HP caps per codebreak. The codebreaker moves around the room each time it's triggered so don't be alarmed if you don't see it where you last used it! Upon completion your character does ascend and gain bonus levels. This fight has impeccable music and the ending cinematic puts us in place for what Genesis: Part 2 will be.
