Our Sleeper Sofa to Work Table Modification

Our Keystone Montana 3791RD has tons of seating room and we rarely used it. Instead, at least one sleeper sofa would be filled with backpacks, electronic devices plugged into the USB charging ports and other miscellaneous items. No more!! We removed one of the fold out sleeper sofas and replaced it with a desk / work table / craft table. We now have a place to set up a laptop, a surface to charge all our electronic devices and a place for Peggy to do crafts while we are on the road. The look and feel opens up the space quite a bit as well. We had a lot of the more expensive material used for the table top and drawer at our home, reducing the cost quite a bit. We also had the paint and primer. Both were from other projects around our sticks and bricks. Everything else came from Home Depot including the self-closing drawer slides. One of the challenges of removing the sleeper sofa is the structural support the sofa provided to the slideout "box". I made a small support that we will try to use as we travel to provide some center strength to the slideout floor. I'll update the description as we see how this "rides" rolling down the road.
