DISCLAIMER 2/16/18: I know now it was wrong to copy Andrew with the intro now, I thought it was cool at the time I guess, can't remember why I wanted to copy him, but this is an OLD VIDEO from my EARLY DAYS on YouTube. I decided to make this public again as some people I know wanted to see this, and Andrew aka Dieselducy himself said there was nothing wrong with the video, so I decided to make it public again. If this video causes problems again, then it will be unlisted again. I do apologize for my immaturity both in editing and in behavior in this video, but I know better now!!!! ;) And I know not to do videos like this again!!! With that said, enjoy! I found many epic Otis Lexans in Gatlinburg, but this one was a Epic failure!!!! The phone didn't even work, so I had TO ESCAPE!!!! You should NEVER ESCAPE, But I had NO CHOICE!!!!! THIS THING ONLY WHEN UP A FOOT AND IT STOPPED!!!! As much as I wish this could be fixed, I hear it is going to be modernized as the other elevator here was, and this place is Under renovation. Even after Hotel Impossible came, its still not being maintained!!!! This elevator will probably never work again until its modded. Vintage Otis elevators are great, but just like any elevator new or old it must be maintained. This was one crappy hotel and it was featured on Hotel Impossible. I hope I can get parts from this elevator if it gets modded... Installed: 1972
