Hundreds of Missiles Are Fired — Yet We Are Living Miracles

We are living in a time of open miracles. Despite the wars and the missiles, the people of Israel continue to witness the protection and providence of Hashem every day. Our Sages teach that Haman once sought to destroy the entire Jewish people in a single day. He searched carefully for the right time and finally chose the month of Adar, because it is the month when Moshe Rabbeinu passed away. Haman believed that without Moshe, the Jewish people had lost their strength and their merit. But he was mistaken. Haman did not understand that the Jewish people always have the power to return to Hashem through repentance, prayer, and Torah. He also did not realize that the righteous are called alive even after their passing. The month of Adar is a month of miracles and salvation. The miracle of Purim carries within it the spiritual power of many miracles that the Jewish people continue to experience throughout history. Even today, as we face danger and uncertainty, we see incredible miracles around us. When the Jewish people strengthen themselves in Torah, prayer, and faith, Hashem continues to protect and guide His people. May we continue to see open miracles and good news for all of Israel.
