In Maremma Park, Italian region of Tuscany, Summer is the most difficult season for foxes, wolves, fallow deer, and smaller species. It often doesn't rain for months and the scorching heat completely dries out many puddles of water, even the largest ones, while the strong wind raises suffocating clouds of dust. Drought forces wildlife to exhaustively search for water, thus putting their lives at risk to quench their thirst until the moment in which, at last, the first rains announce the imminent arrival of a new autumn, a further step in the eternal life cycle.
